Timing is crucial to this location. Check your favorite flight tracking app so you know what and when flights are coming in from the west to land at Bromma Airport. In the summertime, you’ll have a lovely sunset behind the flights as they come. Hard to get right but sure worth the try.

Abandoned Church - Photo by Tired Tim

An old abandoned church located along Sixth Line, just outside of Shawville QC.  A hidden gem found by exploring the back roads.

Fintry Falls - Photo by Scott Goldsworthy

The amazing view looking out over Hofvijver towards the Binnenhof buildings. Hofvijver is a picturesque lake surrounded by government buildings (including parliament and First Chamber of the States General), city landmarks with a large fountain as its centrepiece.

Brunkebergstunneln - Photo by Kristofer Liljeblad

This tunnel provides you with an easy passage from two parts of Stockholm but also a splendid opportunity for photos. Even though it might feel a bit old, with the right post-processing the tunnel will look amazing.

Nictaux Falls - Photo by Aaron Smith

The Nictaux Falls is a cascading waterfall that is a very cool spot with the bonus of having some old bridge pilings that provide amazing shooting angles. We recommend bringing a wide angle lens. The falls and bridge pilings can also be seen from the bridge along Torbrook Rd.

Parc des Chutes Coulogne - Photo by Shawn M. Kent

Stunning waterfalls within a couple of hours drive of Ottawa. Featuring walking paths, the Coulogne waterfalls themselves and all sorts of outdoor adventure activities.

It’s that time again, we’re getting down to the wire for entries in the May PIXEO Photo Challenge! Be sure to get your photos submitted for a chance to win. You can see the photos we’ve selected already to compete for this month on the PIXEO Photo Challenge page.

In the meantime, we’ve got the development team working hard on an update to the app, and we continue to populate the web map with awesome locations. We’ve got roughly 1,000 added to the web map and are well on our way to the mythical 20,000 locations in the app. Thank you again to all of you for your support over the last year and a bit. PIXEO just keeps getting bigger and better!
