Bigăr Waterfall - Photo by Robert Moro

A beautiful umbrella style canopy waterfall, the Bigăr Waterfall is almost 8 metres tall. The unique way the water cascades over moss-covered rocks makes this Waterfall one of the most unique in the world. The Bigăr Waterfall is perfect for the nature photographer and a great place to practice dragging the shutter to create silky smooth water effects. As a neat fact it is located exactly on the 45th parallel north, at the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole.(Caraș-Severin, Romania)
