Church Of The Good Shepherd (Lake Tekapo, New Zealand)

Peter Hammer’s amazing shot of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand is positively stunning. The church’s perfect positioning makes it the ideal spot to capture sunsets with a beautiful old stone church. The church overlooks Lake Tekapo and is also a great spot for night and astrophotography. (Lake Tekapo, New Zealand)

Muriel O. Ponsler Memorial State Scenic Viewpoint (Florence, Oregon, USA)

A piece of driftwood in the foreground leads the viewer into the scene and adds depth to this beachfront photo from Rick Obst. Muriel O. Ponsler Memorial State Scenic Viewpoint is a beautiful wayside that offers picnicking, beachcombing, and even whale watching during March and December. There are approximately five miles of sandy beach with China Creek emptying into the ocean to the south. J.C Ponsler donated the land for this coastal viewpoint in 1938 in memory of his wife, Muriel. Old Harry Rocks (Handfast Point, England)

Matthew Ernst, RCAF

You can almost hear the crashing waves in this lovely shot from Matthew Ernst.  This photo spot is Old Harry Rocks are three chalk formations, including a stack and a stump, located at Handfast Point, on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. They mark the most easterly point of the Jurassic Coast and are a wonderful example of the white cliffs that England is known for. (Handfast Point, England)
