10,000 Suns is an annual garden project where roughly 10,000 sunflower seeds are planted on empty plots of land within the heart of the city to create a living park. This unique area is all maintained by the community volunteers who care for the field, with no other motive than “developing” a garden/park for everyone to enjoy. (Providence, Rhode Island, USA)
