14 Mile Beach is a remote beachfront campground on Warroora Station, south of Coral Bay along the Ningaloo coast. You camp right on the sand with the reef just offshore. White sand, clear shallow water, and the reef starting within wading distance makes this beach incredibly photogenic. The big visual here is the contrast between the dry red outback behind you and the bright blue Ningaloo water in front. From above with a drone that line where the land meets the reef is incredibly graphic. Sunset is the perfect time to shoot. The beach faces west over the ocean and the sky comes alive in rich colours most evenings. After dark the skies are wide open with zero light pollution, so it is a strong spot for astrophotography work too. This is 4WD access only and fully off grid, so make sure to bring everything you will need for both a camping and shooting adventure. You can booking a campsite through the DBCA online system and spots open 180 days before arrival. (Warroora Coast, Western Australia, Australia)
