Afsluitdijk Lookout
This incredible lookout sits in the centre of Afsluitdijk, a major dam and causeway that was originally built in the 1930 and stretches out over 32km. Afsluitdijk is a fundamental part of the larger Zuiderzee Works with the Wadden Sea (a salt water inlet of the North Sea) on one side of the dam and the fresh water lake of the IJsselmeer on the other. The dam serves as a sea barrier to protect the inland against flooding. (Den Oever, Netherlands)
