All Souls Church is a cute country church in Scott, just east of Little Rock in Arkansas. It was built in 1906 to a design by Charles L. Thompson, one of the state's best-known architects of the day. The church has an amazing storybook feel to it. Its stone-textured walls, tall arched windows and a white spire over a little bell tower all work together to make this a fun shooting location. The walls warm up nicely in early or late sun and the white of the spire pops against a clear blue sky. With mature shade trees and peaceful grounds, there is lots of room to move around and experiment with different angles. Getting there is easy, the church sits right on the corner of Walkers Corner Road with lots of parking. Remember it is an active church so while it is free to visit, there are services and worshippers so be sure to respect their space. You can photograph the outside any time, but if you want to capture the stained glass inside it is worth timing your visit around a service. This is a calm, pretty stop to add if you are exploring the historic Scott area. (Scott, Arkansas, USA)
