Alun Alun Tugu Malang

Alun-Alun Tugu Malang is a peaceful city park in central Malang, its round pond filled with lotus flowers and view of nearby colonial style buildings make it quite photogenic. The Tugu monument stands in the middle of the pond, offering a simple but strong subject for photos. The area is especially nice in the early morning or late afternoon when the light is soft and there are fewer people around. On clear days, you can sometimes see mountains in the distance, which adds depth to wide shots.
