Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest is home to the world oldest trees with some dating for 4,000 years old. They can only survive in altitudes above 9,000 feet in the air. This is a great location to get completely away from civilization and just take in the greatness of these trees. There are two separate trails from the parking lot, the Discovery Trail is a short loop and the Methuselah Trail is a longer winding loop.
