Ashikaga Flower Park is the largest Wisteria flower garden in Japan. One of their large wisteria trees is 100 years old and its branches are supported to create a huge umbrella of blue flowers. The charming flower gardens offer 8 seasonal thematic displays and intricate light displays in the evening hours. The peak blooming season for the wisteria usually starts in early May. During other seasons, roses, tulips, tropical water lilies and many other blooms colour the landscape. (Ashikaga, Tochigi, Japan)
