Back Bay station is a transit station in Boston. It is located just south of Copley Square in Boston's Back Bay and South End neighborhoods, and serves intercity rail, commuter rail, and rapid transit lines. The present building, designed by Kallmann McKinnell & Wood, opened in 1987.
