About Balboa Pier
The Balboa Pier and its sister attraction, the Scandinavian-looking Balboa Pavilion were built in 1906 and both were designed to attract land buyers (and visitors) to the area. The pier stretches well out into the Pacific Ocean creating many scenic shooting angles, especially at sunset. (Newport Beach, California, USA)
