About Basteibrücke
Basteibrücke is a soaring stone arch bridge connecting the Bastei rock formations. Bastei sits a dizzying 194m above the Elbe River in the heart of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. These jagged rocks were formed slowly by water erosion over one million years ago. The Bastei Bridge has a breathtaking panoramic view over the Elbe River, the Lilienstein mountain and Koenigstein fortress. (Lohmen, Germany)
