Bay Marker Wentworth Point
Perched within Wentworth Common, the Bay Marker is a sculptural spiral mound with a circular path winding to its summit, offering elevated views across Homebush Bay, Sydney Olympic Park, and the Wentworth Point marina precinct. From the top, you can shoot wide to capture the full panorama of the bay with the city skyline in the distance, or turn your lens downward to use the curved path itself as a strong compositional element. A wide angle lens works well for the sweeping landscape shots, while a longer focal length lets you compress the marina and distant towers. Golden hour light softens the urban edges nicely, and overcast days reduce harsh reflections off the water. The mound is open and accessible with no barriers at the summit, and the elevated position also makes it a natural launch point for drone work over the bay.
