Bengtskär Lighthouse sits on a rocky island southwest of Rosala and is the tallest lighthouse in the Nordic countries. Built in 1906, the granite structure rises above the Baltic Sea and is surrounded by rough rocks, crashing waves, and open water, making it an excellent spot for dramatic seascapes and maritime detail shots. The weathered textures of the lighthouse and outbuildings contrast well with the raw natural setting. The island is accessible by seasonal boat tours from Rosala or Kasnäs, and visits often include guided access to the lighthouse interior and tower. Weather can change quickly, so photographers should be prepared for both bright skies and coastal storms. (Bengtskär Island, Rosala, Finland)
