Blockhouse Point Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse that sits scenically on the west side of the entrance to Charlottetown Harbour, overlooking Northumberland Strait. The present lighthouse, constructed in 1876, replaced older lighthouses at the site which are believed to have been constructed as early as 1846 to serve as a light for the harbour. The lighthouse is quite photogenic both for its stunning surroundings and its unique square shape. (Rocky Point, Prince Edward Island, Canada)
