Bonaventure Cemetery
The Bonaventure Cemetery dates back to 1846 and was designed as a traditional Victorian cemetery with curving pathways, lots of trees and grassy areas. The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the subsequent movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book. The cemetery is open to the public daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Savannah, Georgia, USA)
