About Bricktown Canal Falls
Bricktown Canal Falls sits on the canal running through Bricktown in downtown Oklahoma City. These little falls are a fun spot to pause and capture the water as it comes down over a low wall of stacked stone, splitting into half a dozen separate chutes on the way. Big rough boulders are piled around and over the top of it. You can easily shoot it from the grass on the opposite bank, where the whole width drops into one frame with the pool sitting in front. The face points north across the water, so early and later in the day has better lighting since the light comes across from the side then and separates out the individual falls. If you come back after dark the canal is lit and the moving water appears to sparkle. (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA)
