Sitting at the at the highest point of Ogoy Island is the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment. It is dedicated to Dakini Tröma Nagmo and was built at the initiative of the Moscow Buddhist Center. The Stupa has an amazing view looking out over the entire island and Baikal Lake. During the summer the Stupa is only accessible by boat but in the winter the lake freezes over and it's easily reachable over the ice. (Ogoy, Baikal Lake, Russia)
