About Camber Castle Ruins
Camber Castle is a 16th-century Device Fort, built by King Henry VIII to protect the Sussex coast of England against French attack. The grounds outside the castle are open to explore but access to the castle interior is limited to guided tours that only take place once per month. The tours are organized through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve/Rye Heritage Centre. (Rye, England)
