The Cerro Pelado Summit has beautiful views overlooking the Guanacaste lowlands and is especially photogenic at sunrise and sunset. The hike is steep uphill and then you can hike quite a bit along the ridge along the top - bring lots of water and it can be quite windy along the summit trail.
