About Chandrashila Summit
A steep 5-km. trek leads to the 4,090-m. summit of Chandrashila. This strenuous hike is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas (especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks). To reach this amazing viewpoint the trek is roughly 1.5 hours after you reach the Tungnath temple. (Tungnath, Uttarakhand, India)
