A steep 5-km. trek leads to the 4,090-m. summit of Chandrashila. This strenuous hike is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas (especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks).
