Chùa Thiền Lâm (also known as Gò Kén Pagoda) is a historic Buddhist temple. Founded in the early 1900s, the site blends traditional temple architecture with more recent additions, giving it a layered feel with something new to see at every turn. The standout feature is the massive white Guanyin statue rising from a sculpted lotus base, which you can actually walk beneath and around for different perspectives. Bridges, railings, and water features wrap around the base, making it easy to experiment with angles, symmetry, and framing. The open courtyard and spacious layout mean you’re not stuck shooting from just one spot, and the bright white statue really pops against the sky, especially when the light is softer. It’s an easy place to explore at your own pace, with plenty to work with visually without feeling crowded or restrictive. (Hòa Thành District, Tây Ninh, Vietnam)
