Cirkelbroen ved Sildehagen

Cirkelbroen ved Sildehagen is a sculptural circular pier extending into Mariager Fjord, its bold geometric form and wooden decking creating strong graphic shapes that reward a careful eye. The circular platform itself works beautifully as a foreground element, especially when you position yourself low on the pier and use a wide angle lens to exaggerate the curve leading out toward the calm fjord waters. Reflections on the water are often excellent in the early morning when wind is low, and golden hour light at either end of the day adds warmth to the pale timber and casts long shadows across the decking. Shoot from the shore to capture the full circle silhouetted against the fjord, or step onto the platform and frame outward toward the open water and surrounding landscape.
