Colchuck Lake
Colchuck Lake is a beautiful alpine lake with icy waters that seem to change colours as you look at them - deep blue in the shade, bright aquamarine in sunlight. Plus towering high above you at the far end of the lake are the twin spires of Dragontail and Colchuck Peaks. The hike to the lake is roughly 8 miles in/back (uphill most of the way in) and very photogenic along the way.
