About Conowingo Hydro Station
Conowingo Hydro Station is a large hydroelectric power plant with a dam across the Susquehanna River. The dam was completed in 1928 and was the second largest in the United States at the time. There are many scenic views of the dam and surrounding area from the Conowingo Bridge and it can be quite dynamic to shoot when the hydro station releases water. As a bonus, during the winter months there is often eagles in this area. (Conowingo, Maryland, USA)
