Dakeyne Farm
Dakeyne Farm is an old-fashioned farm experience on the edge of the Annapolis Valley. This amazing family run farm is home to a sprawling Sunflower Maze that usually begins blooming in early August and runs well into Septmber, depending on the weather the blooming season may start/end earlier or later each year. (You can check their website for the blooming timeline.) They plant Four 1-acre sections, one a week, throughout the planting season, so they have new fresh Blooms throughout August and September. So while their flowers do not bloom all at once.. they do have a short period of ‘Full Yellow’ where the whole flower field is a beautiful shade of yellow. “Full-Yellow’ is usually around the end of August into the beginning of September. They do charge an admission fee to cover the cost of running the field. (Mount Denson, Nova Scotia, Canada)
