Davenport Pier
The Davenport Pier now sits in ruins, just a row of huge cement pillars in a photogenic row out into the ocean. Uniquely, with a swing centred in the shoreline pillar. The Pier has many photogenic angles from both the clifftops surrounding the beach and directly on the beach itself. The climb down to the beach is quite steep and can be slippery. This location is perfect for sunset photography and on clear nights it is amazing for astrophotography (be very careful climbing back up from the beach in the dark😉). (Davenport, California)
