Trains used to supply iron ore and coke to the Carrie Furnaces, on the banks of the Monongahela river south of Pittsburgh. These tracks dead-end off a 20-foot drop at the end of the railroad stocking trestle. Located at the Rivers of Steel: Carrie Blast Furnaces National Historic Landmark.
