Lake Bonney is filled with rows of dead trees caused by an increase in the salinity of the lake during the years when a regulator was installed further up the Murray water system. The regulator has since been removed but the damage to the trees was already done. Views of the trees are easily accessible from just off of Morgan Road. (Barmera, South Australia)
