Deir-e Gachin Caravansarai is one of the greatest caravansarais of Iran and has been nicknamed the “Mother of Iranian Caravansarais”. The structure dates back to the Sasanian era, and features many intricate architectural features. As a bonus the rooftop is an incredible spot for astrophotography. (Kavir National Park, Iran)
