Desert Breath is a monumental, 25-acre spiralling art installation made completely of sand. The artwork is subject to natural erosion and slowly changes from year to year. Eventually the entire area will revert to back to it's original desert form. The artwork was completed in 1997 and is still easily viewable two decades later, so it's been a unique location to study the movements of desert sands. (El Gouna, Egypt)
