About Dicks Lake
Dicks Lake is a small alpine lake sitting nestled under Dicks Peak and surrounded by rugged shores. It's a long steep hike but worth it for the views! (www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/granite-lake-dicks-lake-velma-lake-and-eagle-lake-loop) Dicks Lake has some nice campsites a short distance from the lake. If you camp there (or even at Fontanillis Lake), one evening take a stroll out to the granite dome northwest of Dicks Lake and watch the sunset on Lake Tahoe. (South Lake Tahoe, California, USA)
