Driftwood Beach

Driftwood Beach - Photo by Zach Reiner1 / 1

Driftwood Beach is a unique gem dotted with driftwood lying on the shore that naturally creates unique designs as if it were artwork. Check the local tide chart before heading out to make sure you go near low tide for a much better shooting experience. As a bonus you'll drive underneath one of the most photographed tree tunnels (Botany Bay Rd) in the area as you make your way to the parking area. And if you happen to make the trek at just the right time (usually at some point in June or July) you'll be rewarded with a surprise view of the sunflower fields that spring up each summer. Note - You need to obtain a day pass at the kiosk at the entrance of the park, no drones are allowed in this area and it’s prohibited to take any shells or items from the grounds or beach.
