About Driftwood Beach
Driftwood Beach is a photogenic gem where driftwood from Waterton Lakes washes up on shore and creates a beautiful natural mosaic of rock and wood. The beach also has stunning views of Mount Vimy framing middle Waterton Lake and the Prince of Wales hotel atop the hill in the distance. Waterton is where the rolling prairies of Alberta meet the stunning Rocky Mountains and is filled with diverse wildlife, dozens of different wildflowers and some of the best hiking in North America. While shooting here please remember to leave the beach and the driftwood how it was when you got there for other photographers to shoot/enjoy. (Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada)
