East Point Lighthouse
East Point Lighthouse is located in Heislerville at the mouth of the Maurice River where it meets the Delaware Bay. Originally built in 1849 and later rebuilt, the lighthouse combines a two story white keeper’s house with an lantern tower and distinctive red roof to make a unique shooting subject. Its classic proportions, shuttered windows, and coastal setting make it perfect for architectural and landscape photography. The open shoreline allows for clean compositions with wide skies, dramatic clouds, and warm sunrise light reflecting off the bay. The site is accessible by road, with open grounds providing multiple angles for shooting. (Heislerville, New Jersey, United States)
