About East-West/West-East
“East-West/West-East” is a unique sculpture by artist Richard Serra tucked away in the Brouq Nature Reserve. The sculpture is stretched out over a kilometre and is made up of four soaring steel plates, each over fourteen metres in height. The plates are adjusted for topography, so they are all level with each other and perfectly aligned. The structure is supposed to look timeless – something that might have been there for centuries and will continue to stand for centuries to come. (Broog, Qatar)
