The bridge's long 300-foot lift span creates a bold horizontal line across the frame, and shooting from the water's edge gives you clean reflections when conditions are calm, especially in the early morning before wind picks up. Position yourself along the bank to use the bridge as a leading line cutting across the composition, or step back for a wider view that includes the flat Louisiana marshland and big sky above.
