Ennis Lake is a medium sized reservoir that separates the Upper and Lower Madison Rivers. It was formed when a dam was built on the Madison River at the head of the Bear Trap Canyon. The lake is photogenically backed by a rugged mountain range. (McAllister, Montana, USA)
