Epidaurus Theatre
Epidaurus Theatre (Ancient Theatre at the Asclepieion of Epidaurus) dates back to 4c BC and is the biggest and absolutely best preserved theater in Greece. It could accommodate around 12.000 spectators in a perfect spherical layout with incredible acoustics. Unlike many other theaters in Greece, Epidaurus remained intact during the later Roman period, so what you see today is pure original ancient Greek. Plus the view from the top of the theater over the surrounding valley and mountains was beautiful and tranquil. (Epidavros, Greece)
