Falls Of Falloch
Falls Of Falloch is a 10-m. cascade on the River Falloch with a rocky pool beneath the falls. The falls are quite photogenic in the spring when the water levels are high and the fall as the surrounding leaves begin to change colours, plus if you are lucky enough to see an expert kayaker attempting the descent. There is also a unique piece of public art over looking the falls. The 'Woven Sound' installation provides a different viewpoint for the falls. Constructed from steel rods by John Kennedy; the installation features an entry from Dorothy Wordsworth's diary that recalls the thoughts of those who visited the falls during the days of the Grand Tour.
