Faro de Cabo Vilán sits on a dramatic rocky outcrop marking a dangerous section of the Costa da Mortein. Originally built 1896, this stone lighthouse was Spain's first electric lighthouse. The rocky peninsula has spectacular views over the surrounding bay, especially in rough weather. Plus the road to the lighthouse is lined with giant wind turbines that are also quite photogenic.
