About Faro de Punta Martiño
Faro de Punta Martiño was originally opened in 1865, making it one of the oldest in the Canaries. Built in a similar style to other Canarian 19th-century lights, with a painted single storey house, with dark volcanic rock used for the masonry detailing. The lighthouse sits high on a rugged hill overlooking the La Bocayna strait. (Lobos Island, Canary Islands, Spain)
