The Festetics Palace is a Baroque palace located in the town of Keszthely. The building now houses the Helikon Palace Museum. The palace's construction was started by in 1745 and lasted more than a century. The palace was first built on the foundations of a ruined castle. It was tripled in size in two subsequent building campaigns resulting in one of the three largest country houses in Hungary.
