Fisht Stadium is a striking architectural landmark in Sochi's Olympic Park, its sweeping white shell-like roof designed to evoke the snow-capped peaks of the nearby Caucasus Mountains. The exterior curves and translucent canopy make it one of the more photogenic sports venues in Russia, especially when lit dramatically at dusk or after dark when the structure glows against the sky. Shoot from a distance to capture the full form of the roof, or move in close to emphasize the geometric repetition of the facade panels. A wide or ultrawide lens works well for the full structure, while a longer focal length lets you isolate architectural details. The surrounding Olympic Park plaza gives you open sightlines and clean foreground space. Blue hour is the best time to visit, balancing the artificial lighting of the stadium against the deepening sky for maximum impact. (Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia)
