The Fortaleza da Arrifana has a stunning view looking down the steep cliffs of the rugged shoreline. Originally the site of a defensive fortress to protect the coastline, it was practically destroyed by the 1755 earthquake. This location is especially photogenic during sunset. (Aljezur, Portugal)
