About Gamsutl'
Gamsutl' is an ancient hilltop village that was once a bustling town where there were shops, a school, a post office, a hospital and even a maternity hospital. However, over time more and more people began to leave the remote village for life closer to more amenities. Rough;y forty years ago Gamsutl became completely empty and has been sitting empty ever since. Today, there are about 70 houses in the abandoned village slowly being reclaimed by nature, originally there were 300 houses. (Gamsutl', Russia)
