Gordon Church
Originally built in 1864, the St Elmo Presbyterian Church is known locally as the Gordon Church. Named for the Revered Charles W. Gordon (1860-1937) who was one of Canada's leading authors under the pen name Ralph Connor. He was a reverend here and many of his novels were drawn from his experiences as a missionary in the Glengarry region. (Glengarry, Ontario, Canada)
