Grey Dunes are large sand hills built by strong winds, with ravines and erosions. While exploring this area you must stay on the trail - to protect the natural surroundings. First half of the trail is made of wooden paving, the remaining part is pure soft sand. You can leave the shoes behind and enjoy the nature. We recommend a hat, water and sunscreen - there is very little shade. There is a small entrance fee and during peak season they may limit the number of visitors admitted (to protect the natural environment). (Kuršių Nerija National Park, Lithiania)
